Description
This Request for Information and Sources Sought notice concerns non-personal Roman Catholic religious ministry services for military members, dependents, and other authorized persons at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Required services include recurring Masses, confession, sacraments, funerals, baptisms, weddings, annulment assistance, pastoral and crisis counseling, emergency spiritual support, religious education for grades K–12, adult education and RCIA, liturgical coordination, ministry leadership, sacramental records, bulletins, liaison activities, and monthly reporting. The draft Performance Work Statement requires the contractor to provide a qualified Roman Catholic priest in good standing, with written permission to accept the contract and an endorsement from the Archdiocese for the Military Services. It also requires a master's degree in divinity or theology, relevant pastoral and ministry capabilities, English fluency, and the ability to provide services in person at the installation. The anticipated firm-fixed-price requirements contract is described as a 12-month period with two 12-month options. This notice is for market research only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
