Description
This solicitation is for the design, manufacture, and installation of prefabricated, clear-span, permanent modular kindergarten classroom buildings for Waukena Joint Union Elementary School District in California. The contractor is responsible for all regulatory approvals, transportation, and site installation. The buildings must comply with California Code of Regulations Title 24 (2016 editions), including energy requirements, and must be stamped by a professional engineer registered in California. The contractor must hold a valid California Class B Contractor's license and have at least ten consecutive years of experience in constructing modular school buildings in California. The work includes structural steel moment frames, wood shear panel framing, concrete foundations, metal roofing, insulation, doors and windows, finishes, mechanical systems (HVAC), electrical systems (LED lighting, fire alarm, intrusion detection), and utility hook-ups. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials.
