Description
The project requires removal of an existing 21-inch reinforced concrete storm drain and installation of approximately 24 linear feet of 24-by-38-inch oval reinforced concrete pipe, along with replacement of two drainage inlet structures. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, excavation, fill, compaction, construction dewatering, erosion and water-pollution control, clearing and grubbing, drainage, curb and gutter work, pavement milling and restoration, testing, and site restoration. The contractor must maintain pedestrian and vehicular traffic, provide temporary turnarounds and detours, maintain neighborhood drainage during construction, prepare detailed maintenance-of-traffic and temporary-drainage plans, obtain required permits, coordinate utilities, and comply with applicable Florida Department of Transportation standards, Village requirements, local ordinances, and noise restrictions. A 5% bid security is required, and the bid package requires multiple completed qualification, affidavit, certification, subcontractor, and bid forms.
