Description
Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction proposal for removal and replacement of the approximately 4,300-square-foot high-bay roof at the MINOS Service Building and repair of the north exterior masonry wall. The work includes full roof tear-off to the metal deck; inspection and possible repair of the deck; installation of an adhered Sika Sarnafil PVC roofing assembly, insulation, vapor retarder, cover board, flashings, drainage accessories, walkway pads, equipment curbs, and a membrane integrity testing system; and relocation or reinstallation of existing roof equipment. The roofing system must meet the specified FM RoofNav assembly requirements and warranty provisions. The masonry scope includes investigation of water-intrusion pathways; repair or replacement of coping, flashing, membranes, weep holes, drainage cavities, cracked or porous limestone, and damaged brick; tuckpointing; sealant work; and integration of the wall repairs with the roof membrane. The selected subcontractor must provide supervision, labor, materials, equipment, safety oversight, quality control, scheduling, and required closeout deliverables. The proposal is a total small-business set-aside, requires a bid guarantee of at least 20 percent of the total proposed evaluation price, and evaluates technical approach, safety and schedule, relevant past performance, and price.
