NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia is soliciting a contractor to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, inspect, and accept mechanical actuators, part number 8681 and NSN 1680-01-483-3223, for the KC-130J aircraft. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, testing equipment, and procedures needed to return the items to a Ready for Issue condition. Work includes inspection, component repair or replacement, reassembly, testing, quality control, packaging, storage, and required markings. The contractor must perform the repairs and upgrades at the facility identified in the statement of work and maintain quality, calibration, configuration-management, repair, testing, and inspection systems meeting the stated military, ISO 9001, SAE AS9100, or equivalent requirements. The contractor is responsible for necessary parts and materials, repair documentation, inspection records, failure analysis, corrective action, purchased-material controls, and handling of beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, and over-and-above repair conditions. The procurement uses FAR Part 12 procedures and identifies CEF Industries LLC as the specified repair source, with no drawings or technical data available from the Government.
