Description
Broward County Water and Wastewater Services is conducting a Request for Information regarding replacement of damaged curved acrylic panels on an interrupted barrel-vault walkway canopy at its administrative complex. The potential future work would include field assessment and dimensional verification; permitting; sourcing UV-resistant, impact-resistant structural acrylic matching the existing transparency and tint; radius-matched thermoforming or precision bending; safe panel removal; structural preparation; installation; and weatherproof sealing. Vendors would provide labor, supervision, materials, equipment, delivery, and incidentals. The questionnaire requests information about relevant architectural glazing and curved acrylic replacement experience, field-verification and fabrication capabilities, thermal-expansion engineering strategies, gasket and sealant systems, licensing and permitting capabilities, warranties, estimated procurement/fabrication/installation lead times, and a nonbinding rough-order-of-magnitude estimate broken down by materials, labor, and equipment. Respondents must complete the questionnaire and provide a vendor response, including relevant product or service specifications and supporting documentation where applicable. This RFI is for market research only and is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment.
