Description
The Town of Davie Utilities Department is soliciting bids for a three-year contract to maintain, test, repair, and provide emergency services for ten emergency backup generators and associated transfer switches, day tanks, above-ground fuel tanks, fuel pumps, piping, and related equipment. The scope includes quarterly inspections and operational testing, annual maintenance, load-bank testing, fuel testing, fluid and filter replacement, minor and major repairs, modifications, warranty coordination, and emergency response. The contractor must provide all labor, engineering, equipment, materials, fluids, transportation, and emergency service. Emergency requests require a response within 30 minutes and arrival within one hour. Technicians must have OEM training and certifications for the referenced generators, and the bidder must be a manufacturer-certified repair and parts facility. The initial contract period is three years, with two additional two-year renewal periods available by mutual agreement. The estimated budget is $50,000.
