Description
Broward County is conducting a Request for Information to determine whether multiple providers, or comparable alternatives, can meet its needs for DeZurik/APCO valves, parts, and repair services. The County is considering a sole-brand designation based on the products' compatibility, reliability, and importance to uninterrupted wastewater operations and compliance with a state-issued wastewater disposal permit. Respondents should indicate whether they are authorized suppliers of DeZurik/APCO products and can provide associated maintenance and repair services. The requested capabilities include engineering valves for wastewater treatment processes such as sludge thickening, digestion, and aeration; supplying electric actuators capable of direct SCADA communication for remote monitoring and control; providing installation, configuration, calibration, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, replacement, spare-parts, inventory, and technical support; and demonstrating relevant municipal or county wastewater experience. This is an information-gathering notice, not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment.
