Description
The Union County Workforce Development Board seeks one provider to deliver comprehensive WIOA youth services to eligible in-school youth ages 14–21 and out-of-school youth ages 16–24, and to serve as the local youth intake, eligibility, and data hub. The provider must make all 14 WIOA youth program elements available, including career planning, education and training referrals, supportive services, mentoring, follow-up, and paid or unpaid work experience. It must also coordinate with schools, employers, the American Job Center network, and other youth providers; maintain participant records and enter data in AOSOS; and meet enrollment, work-experience, expenditure, reporting, and performance requirements. The estimated total funding is $600,000: $200,000 for in-school youth, $350,000 for out-of-school youth, and $50,000 for eligible WIOA Adult co-enrollment. At least 20% of WIOA Youth funds must support work experience, and the full $350,000 out-of-school youth allocation must be spent on out-of-school youth. The initial contract period is January 13 through December 31, 2027, with an option for one additional year, subject to performance and funding. Proposals require a program narrative, budget narrative and completed budget workbook, and the specified supporting documents and certifications.
