Description
The State of New Jersey, on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Corrections, is soliciting quotes for the full operation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, testing, and regulatory reporting of wastewater treatment plants at Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, Bayside State Prison, and William H. Fauver Youth Correctional Facility. Water treatment plant operations are also required at Garden State Youth Correctional Facility and Bayside State Prison. Services must be performed by appropriately licensed New Jersey operators and include daily operations seven days per week, preventive maintenance, equipment operation and repair coordination, sampling and laboratory services, sludge and residual monitoring, permit reporting, operating logs, emergency response, and compliance with applicable environmental permits and regulations. The procurement contains three separately evaluated facility groups with ten price lines covering fixed monthly operating rates and emergency hourly rates. Bidders may bid on any combination of groups but must price every line within a group. The contract has a three-year base term, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual written consent. A technical quote, bidder experience and data information, required state forms and certifications, current facility-specific operator-license proof, and the state-supplied Excel price sheet are required. Attendance at the site visit for each facility being bid is mandatory.
