Description
Rowan University is soliciting snow and ice removal services across multiple campuses in Stratford, Harrison, and Camden, New Jersey. The scope includes removing snow, ice, sleet, and hail from roadways, parking lots, building entrances, sidewalks, and loading areas; applying rock salt to designated lots and roadways; applying calcium chloride to sidewalks; and providing on-call emergency responses for snow and ice events. The contractor must provide all required labor, operators, equipment, materials, supervision, and transportation. Services must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with on-site response within 60 minutes of an initial call. The solicitation requires simultaneous coverage of all campuses, specified minimum equipment, a minimum of five years of snow-removal experience, equipment and licensing documentation, references, pricing by site and snowfall range, and compliance with extensive insurance and New Jersey statutory requirements. The anticipated term is one year beginning July 1, 2026, with two possible one-year renewals.
