Description
The County seeks a qualified nonprofit organization to implement a regional Tobacco Age of Sale Enforcement program across Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties. Services include recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising youth inspectors; conducting tobacco retailer compliance inspections and follow-ups; supporting authorized enforcement personnel and court proceedings; educating retailers; and maintaining inspection, enforcement, and program data and reports. The contractor must provide staffing, transportation, administration, data management, and other resources needed to perform the work, coordinating with county health departments and other public and community partners. The proposal must include a detailed budget for the initial six-month period, January 1 through June 30, 2027. The anticipated amount available is approximately $120,000, subject to approval and funding requirements. The contract includes two one-year options at the County’s discretion. The solicitation also specifies insurance coverage requirements and requires an insurance broker statement with the proposal; the certificate of insurance itself is due after notice of intent to award.
