Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is soliciting bids for HVAC replacement services. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, permits, disposal fees, travel, and incidentals necessary to remove one existing HVAC unit and install one equivalent new unit provided by the contractor. The services will be performed at the Bishop Maintenance Station located at 1250 Spruce Street, Bishop, CA 93514, in Inyo County. The contract is for a base term of one year, with an estimated start date of August 10, 2026, and an estimated end date of August 9, 2027. Bidders must possess a C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). A payment bond is required if the bid is $25,000 or more. The total bid proposal shall not exceed $484,000.00.
