Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide waste and recycling removal services. This includes trash, compostable materials, recyclables, and debris box service at the Central California Health Care System located at 2615 East Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703. The contractor will be responsible for the collection and disposal of waste in accordance with all federal, state, county, and city laws, rules, and regulations. This includes ensuring containers are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, and that areas surrounding the containers are kept clean and orderly. Disposal of waste must be at a permitted Class III sanitary landfill. The contract will also require the contractor to provide specific container sizes for solid waste, organic waste, and recyclables, and to maintain them in good repair. This is a Sources Sought announcement only, and no solicitation is currently available. The government is requesting capability information from interested parties, including business size, socio-economic status, SAM registration status, and experience with similar projects, to aid in determining the procurement strategy for any resulting solicitation.
