Description
This solicitation is for the sorting, consolidation, packaging, removal, and proper disposal of various hazardous wastes from the former Odger's Petroleum site in El Portal, California. The waste includes petroleum products and contaminated materials, drill cuttings, paint, tires, an above-ground storage tank, and an LPG cylinder, with an estimated liquid volume of 5,700 gallons. The scope of work includes preparing post-award plans (Site Health and Safety Plan and Liquid Consolidation Plan), characterizing the waste, preparing waste manifests, and transporting it to appropriate disposal facilities. The contract will be firm-fixed-price with lump sum pricing. Proof of liability insurance is required prior to contract performance. The project is located in El Portal, California, near Yosemite National Park. A group site visit is scheduled for July 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm PT, and attendance is strongly encouraged. This procurement will be conducted under FAR 12 procedures and is estimated to be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold ($350,000). Quotes are due approximately 30 days after the RFQ is posted and should be submitted via email.
