Description
The City of Cambridge is seeking a creative design agency to expand the Communications and Community Engagement Office's capabilities in web, print, digital design, community engagement, social media, video, animation, branding, marketing, interactive data visualization, and accessible communications. The scope includes website and microsite creation within the City's Sitecore environment; front-end and backend Sitecore development; UI/UX design; accessible templates; print collateral; illustrations; social media content; video production, animation, post-production, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and motion design; branding and department-specific identity work; community engagement initiatives; intranet customization; and static and interactive data visualization. The contractor must support WCAG compliance, multilingual content, and the City's accessibility and universal-design objectives. The engagement includes up to 50 flexible graphic-design, layout, or illustration hours per month for 12 months, four microsite projects, a dedicated project manager, and regular virtual check-ins. The City will own source code, design files, and materials created under the engagement. Bidders must provide relevant work samples, demonstrate specified experience and in-house capabilities, and submit three references. One contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced responsive and responsible bidder, with a one-year base period and two one-year renewal options.
