Description
The Minnesota Land Trust and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seek a qualified contractor for tree removal and wetland restoration on 66.1 acres of private property in Otter Tail County. Tree-removal work includes flush cutting, forestry mowing, stump treatment, grubbing, debris piling, burning or off-site disposal, and potential regrowth treatment. Contractors must furnish all labor, tracked low-ground-pressure equipment, herbicide, supplies, transportation, fuel, and other necessary resources. Wetland restoration work covers eight basins and includes tile checks and breaks, sediment scraping, ditch-plug construction and repair, spillway construction, welded-wire installation, borrow-site restoration, grading, compaction, and related site cleanup. The contractor must comply with applicable permits, Minnesota prevailing-wage requirements, environmental protections, and specified equipment and construction standards. Work deadlines are December 1, 2026, for substantial wetland restoration; June 1, 2027, for tree removal, piling, and burning or off-site disposal; and June 30, 2027, for final completion. The response must use the attached itemized bid sheet and include all mobilization, materials, and other costs.
