Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is seeking one Brabender Sigma Mixer S300N with a 300-gram bowl, integrated PT100 temperature sensing, and accessories required for compatibility with an installed Brabender Farinograph-TS system. Required accessories include an ODU extension cable, PT100 temperature resistance feeler, external burette, and freight to the delivery location. The equipment must support standardized 300-gram flour dough testing and integrate mechanically and electronically with the existing system. The requirement is brand-name and single-source oriented because the documents state that only Brabender components are compatible with the existing Farinograph-TS drive, controls, software, calibration system, and testing standards. The proposed source is Anton Paar USA, Inc., the sole authorized U.S. distributor and service provider for Brabender instruments and components.
