Description
This is a formula grant from the Minnesota Department of Education under the American Indian Education Aid program for Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Community Schools in Waubun, Minnesota. The grant supports culturally-responsive education for American Indian/Alaska Native students in grades PreK-12. Services include Ojibwe language instruction, cultural activities (drum and dance, cultural art projects), after-school tutoring, college and career preparation, parent involvement, and professional development for staff.
