Description
Mayville State University is soliciting proposals for a contractor to manage and operate its campus dining program. The scope includes residential and retail dining, catering for university events, menu planning, nutrition information, special diets, food preparation and service, marketing, customer-feedback programs, staffing, training, sanitation, pest control, inventory management, procurement, and compliance with applicable food-service and employment requirements. The contractor must provide qualified management and operating personnel, coordinate with any retained university dining staff, supply food and operating supplies, and maintain required cleaning and safety programs. The contractor must provide new point-of-sale equipment with credit-card capability and integrate the proposed system with the university's Kinetic housing system and existing Transact meal-tracking software. The contractor must also comply with PCI DSS requirements and provide an annual Attestation of Compliance. The contract is for an initial two-year term, no later than July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2029, with four discretionary two-year extensions. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of comparable university dining experience and submit technical responses, references, a completed cost proposal, PCI DSS documentation, and other requested materials through the designated electronic portal.
