Description
The City of Winston-Salem is soliciting bids for the supply of asphaltic concrete and cold patch materials. Estimated quantities include surface, binder, and base-course asphaltic concrete; PG64-22 asphalt binder for plant mix; and winter- and summer-mix cold patch asphalt. The bid also requests pricing to start the asphalt plant during January and February when needed. The contract is for an initial period from the date of award through December 31, 2027, with the option to extend for additional 12-month periods through December 31, 2030, subject to continued need and funding. The successful primary bidder must provide materials on request, while the secondary bidder must honor its secondary bid prices for the contract duration. The bidder's plant must be located within the municipal limits of Winston-Salem. The bid form must be manually signed and notarized.
