Description
The Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is soliciting bids for the design/bid/build remodel of two toilet and shower rooms, approximately 330 square feet, in Building 1520 at Buckley Space Force Base. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, coordination, permits, and approvals necessary for full implementation in accordance with applicable ADA standards and Colorado building codes. The scope includes demolition, wall construction, concrete cutting and patching, trenching, carpentry, plumbing, electrical outlets and a new electrical panel, power for two exhaust fans, mechanical modifications, door modifications for make-up air, painting, and replacement of fixtures, partitions, and finishes. An alternate provides for resinous epoxy flooring and cove base in both rooms instead of heat-welded sheet vinyl. Bidders must demonstrate at least two similar projects exceeding $200,000, bonding capacity up to $250,000, and compliance with Colorado labor requirements. A bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid is required.
