Description
Bureau County is seeking qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to provide comprehensive design and construction-phase services for the expansion and improvement of vacant, unfinished space in the Bureau County Building. The renovated area will support the Bureau County Emergency Management Department, Emergency Operations Center, E911 BuEComm, and Coroner’s Office, along with associated storage, refrigeration, warehouse and vehicle/trailer storage, and morgue-related infrastructure. The selected firm will provide concept development through project close-out, including architectural plans, roof plans, elevations, fire and smoke separation diagrams, mechanical, electrical, structural, and HVAC engineering, technical documentation, construction administration, and project management. Requests for the full RFQ and questions are due by October 2, 2026; qualification packets are due by 3:00 p.m. Central Time on November 4, 2026.
