Description
The Maryland Department of General Services is soliciting bids for construction repairs at Sand and Spring Run in Frostburg, Maryland. The scope includes site preparation, mobilization, construction layout, compost filter sock, stream diversion pump-around, a stabilized construction entrance, temporary stream crossing, channel deposition excavation and embankment placement, reconstruction of boulder J-hook and boulder vane structures, channel-riffle backfilling, grouted riprap channel backfill, and repair and extension of toe wood with live brush layering. The solicitation identifies additional bid documents that must be submitted, including a bid bond, contractor questionnaire, certification of American-manufactured goods, and an electronic transaction fee form. A small business reserve designation is indicated, and the pre-bid conference is scheduled at the project site.
