IDEA Public Schools is soliciting proposals for an E-Rate Category 2 Phase 2 network project at IDEA Lopez. The scope includes network hardware, delivery, turnkey installation, configuration, network wireless performance surveys, testing, maintenance, removal of legacy equipment, and project documentation. Reference equipment includes Cisco Catalyst wireless access points and switches, power supplies, network modules, transceivers, UPS equipment, network cards, rack-mounted power distribution, cabling, and related accessories. Functionally equivalent products may be proposed with manufacturer documentation and a written deviations list demonstrating compatibility with IDEA's existing infrastructure. Software licensing and subscription services for the current platform are furnished by IDEA and must not be priced; alternative solutions must separately identify all required licensing, subscription, management, transition, and interoperability costs. Proposals must include all required pricing, site information, technical and service-response information, E-Rate compliance documentation, references, insurance evidence, certifications, and completed solicitation attachments. The buyer-provided Attachment K price sheet must be completed in its required format, including responses for each line item, and signed and dated. The solicitation permits subcontractors subject to IDEA approval, while the prime remains responsible for performance. Addendum 2 clarifies that ThousandEyes subscriptions and related entitlements are not solicited, although the embedded-agent hardware line item must be priced when applicable.
