Description
The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission is soliciting bids for the Aviation Tech Park - Phase II - Bid Package 1 project. This project involves the expansion of the commercial apron by 100 feet, the construction of a new service road, the installation of an airfield security fence, and modifications to the stormwater basin. The project is anticipated to be funded in part by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is subject to applicable federal regulations, including Buy American Preference, Civil Rights Title VI Assurances, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Davis-Bacon Requirements, Governmentwide Debarment and Suspension Disclosure, Disclosure of Lobbying, and Procurement of Recovered Materials. Additionally, the project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), requiring bidders to certify that all construction materials are manufactured in the U.S. The successful bidder will be required to commence work promptly and complete the project within the timeframe specified in the contract documents.
