Description
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Criminal Investigations, intends to enter into an agreement with Thermo Electron North America LLC for maintenance and repair services for analytical laboratory instrumentation, by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This is a single-source purchase posted for public review. The contract will include a 12-month service plan, featuring one scheduled annual preventative maintenance visit and an unlimited number of corrective maintenance site visits within 72 hours of the Department's technical support inquiry. The service plan also covers performance-verified replacement parts, software, technical support, upgrades, and on-site maintenance performed by certified, trained service engineers. The service is critical for the Division's investigations, supporting analysis in accordance with Florida Statutes.
