Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Navy intends to solicit and contract with only one source, SIMs Pump Valve Co., for the acquisition of computational fluid dynamics services under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) on a sole source basis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
