Description
The Naval Medical Center Portsmouth intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Abbott Point of Care for an Abbott i-Stat Service Agreement. The service period will be one year, commencing on September 30, 2026, and concluding on September 29, 2027. Abbott Point of Care is the exclusive manufacturer and marketer of the i-STAT System and its associated test cartridges. Any responses to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not impede the mission objective of the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The Government reserves the right to determine whether or not to compete this proposed contract action. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be liable for any costs incurred by respondents.
