Description
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking expert-level reclassification services for patent documents. This service is crucial for the USPTO's mission of examining, granting, and disseminating patents and trademarks. The reclassification will be performed using the Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) system, which is a joint system developed with the European Patent Office. The contractor will be responsible for reclassifying documents according to updated CPC schemes and definitions, which may change monthly. This includes classifying all potentially novel and unobvious subject matter, as well as any unclaimed subject matter. The work will be performed at the contractor's facilities, with occasional on-site meetings required at the USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.
