Description
The City of Ravenswood, West Virginia is accepting sealed bids for the demolition of the McIntosh Community Building and NYA Hall. The project includes total demolition of both structures, removal of foundations and slabs, hazardous materials abatement, dust mitigation, disposal of demolition materials, and backfilling and compaction of the site. The contractor must be licensed and insured in West Virginia, provide a bid bond, and submit required documentation including contractor's license, liability insurance, and project references. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Ravenswood City Hall, 1 Wall Street, Ravenswood, WV, to tour the proposed demolition areas. Bids are due by 4:00 PM EST on September 11, 2026.
