Description
The Village of Highland Falls is seeking an engineering firm to provide surveying, soil investigation, wetland delineation, permitting, preliminary and final bridge and highway design, right-of-way acquisition services, construction support, and full-time construction inspection for demolition and replacement of the Water Storage Access Road Bridge over Highland Brook. Work must comply with AASHTO specifications, NYSDOT standards, and applicable environmental and design requirements. The scope includes design approval documentation, topographic and right-of-way mapping, deed and title research, bridge inspection, soils investigation, load rating, environmental and cost evaluations, utility design, traffic maintenance planning, plans/specifications/estimate preparation, construction bid assistance, shop-drawing review, technical support, quality oversight, and as-built plans. The anticipated agreement term is September 2026 through December 2027, with an estimated construction cost of approximately $1,400,000. Respondents must submit an SF-330 or similar expression of interest, limited additional pages, project references, an organization chart, key-personnel resumes, workload information, project approach, and applicable business-designation or equal-opportunity information.
