City Colleges of Chicago intends to award a sole-source contract to The Justice Journey Experience for a four-day civil rights educational immersion for approximately 14 participants. The turnkey experience includes airfare, lodging, ground transportation, meals, site admissions, subject-matter experts and eyewitness presentations, participant preparation, on-site coordination, chaperone discussion-circle training, and a post-trip debrief. The itinerary visits civil rights landmarks in Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham. The public review notice invites vendors to request a hearing or submit a signed statement demonstrating the capability to provide the services at or below the stated amount. The attached proposal estimates the package at $54,336, subject to change, and includes a mandatory in-person participant orientation and post-trip reporting and debrief deliverables.
