Description
TEEN Interlocal #632 is soliciting proposals for dedicated, symmetrical 1 Gbps internet access delivered over fiber optic cable, with the ability to expand bandwidth as needs arise. The service will use TEEN's existing fiber network to connect five participating Kansas school districts and must include connectivity monitoring, assistance resolving connectivity issues, and a direct customer service contact. The solicitation also requests one subnet of 255 public IP addresses, with those costs identified separately because they may not be eligible for E-Rate funding. The provider must supply and own a head-end router, and any required equipment pricing must include installation, shipping, and all costs necessary to make the services operational. Respondents must provide detailed pricing and descriptions, identify ineligible or partially eligible E-Rate items and cost allocations, provide a current SPIN, and comply with E-Rate guidelines and Lowest Comparable Price requirements. The initial service period is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with two possible one-year renewal options.
