Description
The City of Junction City is soliciting bids for the complete demolition of all buildings at 1314 Marshall Ct. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, equipment, barricades, and incidental services; removing all structures down to the basement floor where applicable; removing debris, trash, brush, limbs, and scrub trees under six inches in diameter; and obtaining required permits. The successful bidder receives salvage rights to the structure and associated materials. The contractor must secure the structures before demolition, remove each structure within seven days after demolition begins, fill and compact excavations with approved homogeneous soil, and grade the lot to adjoining grades. The scope also includes coordinating and protecting public utilities, sealing and inspecting the sanitary sewer before backfill, and repairing any damaged sidewalks, curbs, driveways, pavement, or other improvements. A current company affirmative action plan must be submitted and approved by the City. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project site.
