Description
The Kansas Department of Revenue is seeking a contractor to provide complete janitorial services at its approximately 2,425-square-foot Manhattan Driver License Examination Office. Services include cleaning floors, carpets, washrooms, entrances, high-touch surfaces, break areas, furniture, windows and blinds; emptying and cleaning waste receptacles; sanitizing telephones and dispensers; replenishing designated supplies; and disposing of trash and medical sharps in accordance with applicable guidelines. Services are required three times per week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—during regular office hours, with additional periodic services including carpet steam cleaning twice annually, floor stripping and waxing as needed, and scheduled quarterly, semiannual, and annual tasks. The contractor must furnish janitorial materials and commercial-grade equipment, provide qualified employees, maintain staffing and emergency coverage, and submit a technical proposal, cost proposal, references, tax clearance certificate, required certifications, and other supporting documentation. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2032.
