The 21st Contracting Squadron is seeking information from contractors capable of providing comprehensive non-personal grounds maintenance and snow and ice removal services at Peterson Space Force Base and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station. The draft PWS covers improved, semi-improved, unimproved, and bird-strike-hazard grounds; mowing, edging, trimming, weed and pest control, irrigation operation and repair, debris and leaf removal, lawn conditioning and repair, shrub and tree care, vegetative and rock-bed maintenance, drainage-ditch maintenance, xeriscaping, and related emergency and special-event services. The requirement also includes snow and ice removal from approximately 716,816 square feet of paved areas, sidewalks, steps, ramps, and other designated surfaces, with response thresholds based on accumulation and snowfall cessation. Contractors must provide personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, materials, certified pesticide applicators, certified arborists, and an ASSE-certified irrigation/backflow specialist. The PWS includes installation-access and security requirements, environmental and hazardous-material controls, quality-control planning, 24/7 irrigation response during operational periods, and a request for respondents to identify their capability, anticipated barriers, and proposal-preparation time.
