Description
Washington County Public Schools is soliciting multiple contractors for an as-needed unit-price plumbing services contract covering job-order projects at district locations. Contractors must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and related services for scheduled and emergency plumbing work. Pricing must include maximum hourly rates for master plumbers, journeyman plumbers, Maryland apprentice plumbers, and laborers, along with markups for miscellaneous materials, subcontractor work, and rental equipment. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with two additional two-year renewal terms available by mutual agreement and formal Board approval. Minimum qualifications include a licensed master plumber on staff, at least five years of industrial/commercial plumbing experience, at least three references, appropriate Maryland licensing, and a dispatching office within 75 miles of the WCPS Center for Education Services. Required proposal materials include the price proposal, mandatory bid/proposal affidavit, specification and addenda acknowledgment, and reference form. The contract requires specified commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation/employers' liability, and umbrella or excess liability insurance, although the insurance certificate is due after award.
