Description

Corpus Christi Independent School District is soliciting a districtwide firewall refresh centered on a high-availability pair for North/South traffic. Each appliance must meet a minimum 100 Gbps firewall-throughput requirement and a minimum 40 Gbps SSL/TLS decryption-throughput requirement with application control, intrusion prevention, and anti-malware enabled simultaneously. The solution must support application-based policies, advanced monitoring, centralized management and reporting, user and group identification, remote-access VPN for iOS and Android devices, logging and retention, and integration with the district’s network and security platforms. Offerors must also propose an approach for East/West traffic, including a physical-pair or separately licensed virtual/software-defined firewall for the data center and servers. The scope includes hardware, software and security subscriptions, required optics and related equipment, migration of the existing firewall configuration, design, installation outside school hours, configuration, acceptance testing, training and certification for up to four district employees, and five years of OEM support and security subscriptions. Optional services and alternate solutions may be priced separately. The district expects the initial contract term plus two three-year renewal options, with pricing requested through an evaluation-only tenth year; award is subject to Board of Trustees approval and E-Rate and district funding.
