Description

Corpus Christi Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a districtwide next-generation firewall solution consisting of two physical appliances configured as a high-availability pair. The solution must support North/South and East/West traffic, provide at least 100 Gbps firewall throughput with SSL/TLS decryption, and include application-based policies, intrusion prevention, URL filtering, VPN, malware and zero-day protection, centralized management, advanced reporting, monitoring, analytics, and integration with the District’s security information and event management platform. A software-defined or virtual firewall option for the data center and servers may also be proposed. The scope includes equipment, software and licenses, installation, configuration, migration of existing firewall rules, project management, testing, documentation, training for up to four employees, five years of support and maintenance, 24/7 telephone support, and on-site support within 24 hours of request. Proposals must include technical and pricing responses, completed worksheets, product specification sheets and white papers, experience information, a management plan, technical approach, HUB certification if applicable, and required signed forms and addenda. The initial contract term is three years beginning July 1, 2027, with two three-year renewal options.
