Description
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is soliciting qualification statements from design-build firms to establish a pool of qualified firms for continuing water and wastewater utility projects. Services may include water supply and distribution systems, pumping stations, hydraulic modeling, wastewater collection systems, lift stations, treatment facilities, permitting, surveying, project representation, program support, emergency response, and related engineering services. Assignments may include complete project delivery from concept through design, permitting, construction, testing, commissioning, closeout, and warranty support. Potential work includes a reverse-osmosis plant expansion and monitoring-well replacement. The initial contract term is up to five years from execution, with a possible one-year renewal; selection does not guarantee any project assignments. Qualification submissions are evaluated on firm experience, references, key personnel, technical approach, responsiveness, and local vendor preference, with no pricing requested during the qualification phase.
