Description
The State seeks qualified firms for pre-event contracts covering one or more of five service areas: emergency resource distribution (including procurement and delivery of ice, bottled water, and meals ready-to-eat); federal disaster assistance support; debris removal, processing, and disposal; emergency management planning; and snow assistance. Vendors may propose for fewer than all five areas. The resulting master agreement will be available to municipalities and quasi-public agencies, and the State may use additional contractors for similar services. Responses must include a technical proposal addressing the specified experience, personnel, references, company profile, and service approach, along with complete all-inclusive pricing for the scopes proposed. The agreement term is three years with one two-year renewal option. Performance and payment bonds totaling $1,000,000 are required when the State initiates resource distribution or debris removal work, rather than as a general proposal-time requirement.
