Description
The City of New Bedford is seeking Statements of Qualifications from Massachusetts-registered architectural firms or individuals to provide on-call professional architectural and engineering services for municipal construction projects, including New Bedford Public Schools, on an as-needed basis. Services may include reports and observations, specifications and biddable plans, cost estimates, testing and field measurements, calculations, recommendations, and construction administration. Projects may involve brownfield sites or environmental constraints requiring specialized soil handling, earthwork considerations, and coordination with environmental regulations; qualified engineering and environmental subconsultants may be included. The City intends to award up to five on-call master service agreements, with individual projects issued through task orders and fees negotiated for each task order. The agreement is for one year with two additional one-year renewal options. Respondents must submit the required designer application, qualifications and reference materials, minimum-criteria form, plan of services, designer certifications, non-collusion and tax compliance certification, applicable corporate or LLC authorization form, subconsultant acknowledgments, and other required documentation.
