Description
Chickasawhay Natural Gas District is soliciting bids for construction of approximately 5.33 miles of 10-inch HDPE high-pressure gas main, including connections and appurtenances along or across U.S. Highway 84, U.S. Highway 45, Mississippi Highway 145, and county roads in Wayne County, Mississippi. The contractor must furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and other resources required by the specifications and drawings. Bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the total bid, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, solvent bank check, or bidder's bond issued by a surety licensed in Mississippi. The successful bidder must furnish a contract bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Proposals must remain valid for 90 days after submission and must be submitted as a complete package in a sealed envelope; electronic bidders must contact the Engineer of Record for electronic-bidding requirements.
