Description
Chickasawhay Natural Gas District is soliciting bids for construction of approximately 5.33 miles of 10-inch HDPE high-pressure gas main, including connections and appurtenances along or across U.S. Highway 84, U.S. Highway 45, Mississippi Highway 145, and county roads. The contractor must furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and other resources required by the specifications and drawings. Each bid must include bid security equal to five percent of the total bid in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, solvent bank check, or bidder's bond issued by a surety licensed in Mississippi. The successful bidder must furnish a contract bond equal to 100 percent of the contract amount. Proposals must be submitted in their entirety in a sealed envelope; bidders choosing electronic submission must contact the engineer of record for separate electronic-bidding requirements.
