Description
The City of Winder is soliciting bids for construction of the Bankhead Highway High-Pressure Natural Gas Main Extension, Project Number 250235. The work includes approximately 9,650 linear feet of 4-inch high-pressure steel gas main, 30 linear feet of 4-inch polyethylene gas main, and 150 linear feet of 2-inch high-pressure steel gas main, including trenched and untrenched installation, line valves, connections, regulator stations, and related appurtenances. The City will furnish the gas main, valves, fittings, and regulator stations for installation by the contractor. Bidders must hold a compliant Georgia state contractor's license and place the license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal; bidders must also be current subscribers to the SRCS Operations Qualification Program and provide evidence upon request. Bid security is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Award will be based on the base bid alone, and further submittal requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders included with the bidding documents.
