Santa Fe County will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance amending its affordable housing rules. The amendments would align the county’s Affordable Housing Plan and Affordable Housing Rules with current rules of the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority. The hearing concerns amendments to Sections 2, 3, 4(2)(b), and 4(5)(b)(i)–(ii) of Ordinance No. 2023-05 and the addition of Section 11. The hearing is scheduled for October 27, 2026, at or after 5:00 p.m.
