Description
The New Mexico Department of Health, in partnership with the New Mexico Health Care Authority, is seeking a single contractor for expert consulting services related to Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC), cost allocation plan (CAP) maintenance, and indirect cost rate proposal (ICRP) development. The scope includes preparing quarterly MAC invoice data, updating and submitting CAP materials, preparing and negotiating annual ICRPs, identifying additional Medicaid matching and federal reimbursement opportunities, supporting compliance and documentation, and assisting with related questions, revisions, and audits. The contractor must also provide training, written guidance, tools, and knowledge transfer to agency staff; participate in meetings with agency, state, federal, and other stakeholders; and provide ongoing technical assistance and process-improvement recommendations. Proposals must address organizational experience, at least three recent organizational references, mandatory technical specifications, financial stability, cost, and applicable New Mexico or Native American resident preferences. The contract is a single-award, four-year agreement limited to the two contracting parties.
