Description
Tahoe City Public Utility District is soliciting a lump-sum bid for maintenance dredging at the Lake Forest Boat Ramp. The work includes mechanically dredging approximately 400 cubic yards of sediment to elevation 6,219 feet, transporting and legally disposing of the dredged material, installing and maintaining a full-depth turbidity curtain, implementing best management practices and erosion controls, and removing, staging, protecting, and replacing floating docks or landings. Hydraulic dredging is not permitted. The bid also requires construction planning and environmental submittals, compliance with applicable federal and California permits, a California Class A contractor's license, at least three similar project references including one public agency, and a 10% bid bond. The successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and complete the work within the stated construction window.
