Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and will not result in a contract award. The anticipated future project involves coating the Barkley Emergency Gate hydraulic structural section, including surface preparation to SSPC-SP 5 White Metal Blast Cleaning standards and removal of rust, scale, and contaminants. Approximately 100 square feet of existing lead-based paint remains and must be addressed. The contractor would apply the specified 5-E-Z coating system in accordance with the manufacturer's mixing, application, and curing requirements. The anticipated acquisition is a competitive firm-fixed-price construction contract with an estimated magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and an estimated duration of 274 calendar days. Interested firms should submit a capability statement describing company information, socioeconomic status, bonding capacity, relevant capabilities, prime-contractor interest, and up to three similar projects completed within the last 10 years or substantially completed. Subcontractors should identify the work features and socioeconomic category in which they are interested.
